Tampa Bay Lightning Chicago reviews
A great time, but read the crowd.
I love the Lightning and I will HAPPILY pay $10 to watch the game with my friends. Had a blast doing it last year. It is worth the $10 because not only is it going to charity, you also have stuff like giveaways and games during the breaks.
The only things I didn’t like were how I missed what the refs said because they cut the game at those parts for interactive stuff (I WANT TO HEAR THE CALLS AND SEE THE REPLAYS!), and they tried to pump the crowd up after an opposing goal. It was a crappy game, but commiserate with the crowd and match their angry energy. Don’t try to distract us. It also consistently bothered my friend that they sound and video didn’t match up. It was super obvious even though it annoyed her more than me.
Would I go again? Probably. It’s a lot of fun, but if you really want to see every call of the game and hear it as it happens, you might want to try another viewing party. Very kid-friendly.
